lyrics

I once knew a man
who shouldered all my cares
He held me by my hand
And took me everywhere

The windows to the soul
they stay open wide
when the world is letting go
and there's nothing left inside

And now he calls to me
To help him find the way
He begs my heart to see
this debt i must repay

The windows to the soul
they stay open wide
when the world is letting go
and there's nothing left inside

I once knew a man
so singular and true
I held him by his hand
And did what i had to do

And did what I had to do
