lyrics

How can one man be so lucky?
I stumbled in from the cold
Hung my hat in that warm sanctuary
Where she served up salvation for my soul

She looked me up and down as I sat at the counter
She said boy you ain't been eatin' right
But once you get a taste of what I got cooking
You won't believe your appetite

And now I spend all my time in Cecillia's kitchen
She's all I'm thinking of
She sticks to my ribs like a slow cooked brisket
And she butters my buiscits with love

Turnip greens, creamy mashed potatoes
Butter beans that melt right in your mouth
I didn't know I was so hungry
That is until Cecilia laid it down

I spend all my time in Cecillia's kitchen
That's where I'm sittin' now
With a big slab of meatloaf, divine intervention
Good God Almighty, holy cow
